Peace
Poster Design
Created layered visual modules combining printed type and digital handwriting in Figma, using reusable components for consistent texture and color treatment. Managed the creative process from typographic exploration to final poster layout to ensure emotional resonance and visual coherence.
Inspired by Corita Kent’s bold, expressive approach to typography, this poster series promotes peace through a fusion of printed type, digital handwriting, and vibrant color palettes. By experimenting with layered typography and dynamic composition, I aimed to create designs that feel emotionally charged, visually engaging, and conceptually powerful.

Printed Types

Handwritings
Drawing from Kent’s technique of photographically manipulated type and expressive, freeform handwriting, I explored how the juxtaposition of structured and organic elements can reinforce the message of peace. The layered textures add depth, while the fluidity of handwritten elements introduces a personal, human touch—symbolizing unity and harmony.

Color played a crucial role in shaping the mood of these posters. Through extensive experimentation with various palettes, I selected combinations that balance vibrancy and visual harmony, ensuring that the designs grab attention and evoke a sense of calm and resolution.
This project reflects my exploration of typography as a medium for activism and emotional storytelling, using bold design choices to transform a universal message into an impactful visual experience.
